It is a symbol of Egyptian royalty, not Sumerian.</p><p>We see the same elongated neck, and the same collar as on the Berlin Nefertiti; and it wears the same crown, even with the same decorative sweat-band. This crown is a flat-topped variant of the "Blue Crown of Egypt," and this flat-topped version was popularized around 1350 BCE by Nefertiti, but became popular in souvenir sculpture after 1912.
