While I asked for help on the eBay boards periodically, due to the challenges that certain..er, members posed, I often didn't partake in conversations and just lurked. Wait - don't trolls lurk? Egaads. Anyways, my name is Cory aka FunkeysFinds (which I don't think I ever posted on one eBay forum) and have already participated here more than I ever did there. I was raised in a collecting family - as a child, my parents took me to garage sales, thrift stores, auctions, etc. Our family vacations were planned around metal detecting and figuring out where we could go bottle digging in old garbage dumps (something I do miss greatly since my mom passed away - she was my pal for that). When I was in Junior High I worked in my first antique store cleaning the cases and other items, then worked in another store in High School. It took some convincing, but they could see how much I loved the items. I have slowed down on what I personally collect, but enjoy Holt Howard Pixieware, Bauer Ringware, Antique tin advertising spice tins and in the past few years have spent more time and money expanding my Vintage and Antique Pottery collection; Pewabic, Cowan, North Dakota Mines, etc. Unfortunately I am a chronic pain/migraine sufferer and my spouse and I decided that it was best for me to work on my internet stores from home. I have four stores - eBay, Etsy, Amazon and Discogs (music only site) and space in an antique mall.[/QUOTE]
