    Many do collect by subject, or time period. And many collect by quirks of particular cards...like cards that have night scenes, or cards that are original photographs (Mom had a photo of Pancho Villa in her collection!). One of the members of the postcard club I joined collects primarily for the postmark! It really is quite interesting.

    Wow...Your great-aunt or uncle! It's really quite touching to know that even though there aren't any wild or fun stories about a relative who died so young, you can still hold their memory in your heart.
