A straight up long handled snuffer would be right for a chamberstick like this one if it had a tall glass insert. The chambersticks I have and have seen were ones without handles of any length that hooked on to the sides of the chambersticks. </p><p><br /></p><p>I found a pierce/reticulated chamberstick on a dedicated chamberstick website. It doesn&#039;t have a snuffer, but the overall design is similar. You might be interested in the description given. BTW, the site erroneously IDed the metal and the date. They called it sterling using the markings of the metal for location and dating. The markings are: crown, prince-of-wales feathers, P, G, S.
