A silver plated chamber stick question or two

    I suspect so, but they weren't called hurricane back then. I would emphasis chamberstick in title, but to attract attention you might mention hurricane style also.

    It is difficult to determine on silverplate, at least for me. The 925-1000 site has next to this electroplate mark: "Electroplate from c1853."

    So, Chamber Candlestick is an acceptable term to properly describe this item.
