The store had wrapped them all together in tape, however it took about 2 seconds to see &quot;sterling handle&quot; on one of the serving pieces. I grabbed it up and made my way to the register after checking out the rest of the store.</p><p><br /></p><p>When I got to the register, the cashier told me &quot;finally someone got those, they&#039;ve been sitting here for a week, beautiful aren&#039;t they??&quot; My response was of course they were, but we never bring up the topic of silver... So with the 50% discount, the entire set was $10!!!</p><p><br /></p><p>The large bowl in the photo is 12&quot; wide, and the 6 bowls are all 6&quot; wide. Went to a bunch of other stores without much luck but managed to find a beat up spoon made by Nathaniel Francis, circa 1804-1827 NY. Kind of sad how it&#039;s beat up, but when I picked it up and felt that soft bend I knew it was going to be coin silver. 25 cents for the spoon.
