Featured A New Wood Animal!

A lot of the better cheap MCM Lighting we've seen in the last 5 years comes from IKEA.We've found lots at thrift stores.This isn't collectible 50's or 60's,so it's not really resalable at a profit,but looks great.
PS-The toilets we saw in Europe,frm London to Amsterdam,came from IKEA.I guess it's the Home depot of the Old Country ?

Not that it has anything to do with the bird, but I have never heard of a toilet from Ikea. Overhere we get them from specialist stores.

 

Sorry Bake,my response should have been more clearly prefaced-" Even though Rachel's carved 'Goose' isn't technically a piece created post WWII-1960's,it is in the spirit Of MCM,like the modern IKEA lighting we've bought,and fits in beautifully w/ our actual period Mid Century pieces.
PS-The observation re all the places we stayed in Europe seemed to have IKEA plumbing was confusing.Sorry to disrupt the flow of our current conversation & thanks for keeping things 'ship shape' on our Forum.
