    When I saw that purple sequined thing, the first person I thought of was Prince.

    Heck if I were small enough it would suit ME.(LOL) I'm guessing mid-60s at the absolute latest and probably quite a bit earlier. That's when pinked seams disappeared. If it's synthetic fabric it's probably 50s rather than much earlier.

    The sequin thing is known as a shrug, and very nice it is, too. Right time of year to sell. I think it may be 1950s from the making of it, or even earlier. A fancy vintage dealer in London would ask up to fifty quid for it.
