Featured 925 turquoise coral ring antique?

That’s a beauty and there’s no question that’s turq! That stone is so odd to me on that ring!

 

I believe the black is applied. I'd like to remove it but think the result may not be good.

 

i have no idea but if the stone was treated and something leached under the costing I’d have a much easier time calling it turquoise. I’ve never seen any stone other than turquoise used in that combo from Tibet but I sure wish I could see it in hand.

 

On very rare occasions lapis lazuli, but this is definitely not that. I think turquoise is most likely, but I agree, it looks odd.

 

Had to clean the ring a bit. The black turned out to be soft and gooky- used a wooden toothpick to remove a lot of it then a light cleaning with a soft toothbrush, warm water, liquid dish soap. I'm okay with the result : )

 

Great, it looks much better now.
Not sure Tibetan goes with lace gloves though.
