Just received my box today and it was a complete surprise. I had totally forgotten about this give-a-way so winning makes it a special surprise. I did not send my address but somehow Santa found a way to get this to me.

I love, love, love the Haida bentwood box. I see on the side of the outer box it says crafted by Anne and Charles Gee. Inside there is a card saying Halibut by Leon Ridley. I assume this means that the decoration was done by Ridley and the box by the Gees?

My cat really perked up when I blew the whistle. It is Cusco (Cuzco) pottery from Peru. I think the gator is a handle to something with that notch in the mouth. Maybe a fan? Maybe from an old Florida souvenir? The bone keychain has an ulu on it so, in that form, maybe Inuit? I actually have a modern ulu that I use all the time. Best chopping knife ever.

I assume the horse is an older Swedish dala horse? Looks like the little pottery man came off of something. Any origin on this? I will have to find something to place him on to or another way to display him. I will use the money clip to house some of my wads of money stashed away. I really like the hammered silver (?) horned animal. This may be the sleeper in the bunch. Any ideas about origin for this?

Any way you look at it, I came out like a bandit on this. Thank you for the generous gesture. It is a pleasant surprise and much appreciated.
