    You're welcome. :cat:

Janet, a lot of costume jewelry is worth more than "good" jewelry. It pays to research.
    Good luck !

Similar marks are quite common and may have been for orientation of the piece.

My understanding was always that a pointy nose isn't the issue per se, but whether the nose is turned up at the end or not, with up-turned noses being more recent.

The prices on eBay were a lot higher 10 years ago, before the recession and possibly a change in what's popular. I sold a cameo with an 18K pin/pendant setting and image of the Goddess Diana in 2011 for less than half of what it would have gotten in 2004.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I agree with Pat that the prices for cameos in general were higher 10 years ago. I became interested in them in about 1999 or so and purchased quite a few, of all types that I could afford, as a learning collection more than anything -- although i also wear one occasionally. But I mostly stopped buying them some time ago. I can see now that some are going for lower prices.

That does not mean they are worthless, though. (I know, nobody said that. I just wanted to emphasize it.)
