Featured 19th century German (?) painting?

I'd get it properly cleaned if you do buy it. And revarnished.

 

Not sure where you are but in the NY area any cleaning/restoration etc. is a huge ripoff unfortunately. I only do it in really necessary situations.

 

London. It's doable. I think you're losing a lot if it's left as is.

 

I have so many paintings I lost count and I'd be broke if I wanted to clean them all. Sometimes these restorers want multiple times what you paid for the painting itself just for the tiniest repair. It's a huge scam here sadly.
