I thought it was probably from the 70’s. I mainly based that assumption on the green shag carpet, the color of the chest and the fact that everything else in the house seemed to be 50’s to 70’s. However, the lady at the sale told me it originally belonged to her grandmothers sister who was born around 1905. And she thought this chest was 20’s or 30’s. Since I know nothing about furniture, I thought I would ask y’all. The hardware certainly looks newer to me but I suppose that could have been replaced.
