[QUOTE="Ratsy Brown, post: 4204185, member: 5040"]Hello Here is a lovely pendant I bought last week. I did an acid test for gold content and it came up as 18ct, which I confirmed with my jeweller. He wasn't sure where it came from, but suggested Turkish or Middle Eastern. It is rose gold coloured with no marks. Set with amethysts, sadly one missing. I think the two emerald cuts may be replacements for original shield cut stones-sadly only one left. Weighs 14.4 grams. 4cm height including loop, and 2.3cm width. Unsure whether to harvest the stones and melt it down. Obviously it would be nice to keep but I can't find anywhere that sells shield shape amethysts. Any help on origin is appreciated.
