Featured Chinese 18thc tea bowl ?

its actually very translucent, when held to the light you can see the internal decoration leaf from the bottom

The little interior decoration is unusual to me. The British Pottery and Porcelain Discussion group on FB may be able to ID it. I think you scored rather well! If one was to give away the items, I would take the 18th c Chinese teabowl. Delightful painting.

yeah turned out a good lot, i could see enough of the chinese bowl to know what it was

at the same auction in another lot 2 common late 19th prunus jars with 4 pictures of them sold for £280 so crazy really

Wow very crazy. I'll have to start listing my stuff on there. I got £10 for the last two I sold.

 

think it might be time not to buy from local auctions but to sell to, 2 late 19th century pieces would probably sell online for about 65 for the 2 i reckon

thinking theres people out there who must bid and don't realize the price things sell for

 

Geez, all I know is that if I put stuff like that in an auction, I'd get $5 after all the auction fees are totted up. But, if real, stupid money for those items. I do think that there is a lot more impulse buying on line than when you actually have to get up and go to the auction house, view the stuff, make your decisions and then bid. I rarely shop online.
