I just bought this beaded belt. length beadwork ca 65 cm, height ca 6,5 cm. I would think the beads are glass, in middel part a bit tubular...
It says afghan animal pendant/amulet often holding a small muslim writing for extra protection. That also explaines the (filled up) holes.

Don't know if this qualifies for this forum, don't even know if it is from a native american artist. But thought some of you might know/recognise...
The top is quite small 6,5 x 6 x 2 cm. So sizewise could be from small antler or a big bone. The diameter of the wooden stick 1,5 cm.

Silver belt? Not very shiny, so low grade maybe? Or does the green on some of the plaques mean it is plated? Mainly would like to know the origin...
