Very well. The materials are different from piece to piece, I therefore suspect the majority is bone and some is ivory.
Well I can imagine why not, I have read to test in a nondescript area of a piece and see if it burns is the best method to see if ivory

Most all of the items in the auctioned unit was before 1975. Surprises me the consensus is 1980s thus far. Could be though, I was hoping ivory
