    Yes the frame doesn't look old but that does not mean it hasn't been re framed quite recently. Thank you

    No I know that and what I should have done is not put anything about bernerd lens and just asked if anyone knows the maker...someone else said it...

    Looking closely i would say the date and initials are painted on but i could be wrong.
