Finds Thread
Maybe we can have an on-going finds thread here instead of a weekly one. If it gets too unwieldly, we can start a new one or go to a different format. Finds do not need to be antique.

Antique Drugstore Syrup Dispenser
Anyone ever seen one of these before?
I have been looking for 10 years for one like it with no luck.
Only thing i could find out is that it is a very old drugstore syrup Dispenser
Marked on the glass " C & H Bottle Dispenser "
I have seen some other dispensers by this company; but, they were newer than
this one. Nothing even close to the age of this one.
Measures approx. 14 1/2" tall
The white ball feet appear to be glass.
Silver ?
Any idea on value ??
thanks -

Pre-Depression Family Farm Photos
First picture is of my Grandfather, with his team of horses, breaking sod in Tony, Wisconsin, 1928.
Second picture was taken in June 1929. Grandfather is 'plowing' the garden with my father riding the huge, white horse.
Sadly, my Grandfather lost his farm during The Great Depression. -

Sterling Tea Caddy ???Match Holder?????,
Hi, this has been in the family forever. Its sterling but not marked, just some faint scratched in initials and numbers on the base, possibly homemade?.
Because of the flames on the front I thought it was for holding matches? Could it also be for tea?[ -
