Featured Zuni Mole Carving, AT Monogram Signature: Artist? Material?

    It's 2 1/2" long, ~1" wide, ~3/4" high; weighs ~1 1/2 oz.
    Pics 3, 4 & 7 show the color of the unknown material best.

    I think I saw this mark on an item here fairly recently, but didn't note the artist's name. Any comments or suggestions are most welcome...an' Thanks for lookin'!

    Well the 'marks' match!! This mole looks more marble to me, but WDIK!!!

    More'n me...I was gonna guess Picasso marble but I simply have no idea what it is. Thanks!

    Picasso marble has random intersecting lines on it, a bit like a Cubist painting.;)

    What a great little carving! I had never seen a mole portrayed by a carver until now, never mind a Zuni carver.
