YR jewelry mark...

    I have a ring that only says "yr". I thought maybe this was "year" but it has nothing after. It's gold tone but I saw posts on other sites from people who have found it on silver. Is this a maker's mark?

    I don't know about jewlery, but it would help if you posted full images of your ring for people to look at. There are explanations on how to do that. If you have Q's on posting photos, just ask.
