Featured Your thought please, Reverse painted oval sailing ships

I picked this up the other day for a song and was hoping to find out more about it. Is measures 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" wood frame and the painting is on the inside painted on the glass.
I have seen s couple more with the exact same frame stating they were antique? I doubt that but would like to know. it is unsigned and no markings or other information.

The hanger, simple frame, and mahogany backing board look similar to examples of Chinese reverse paintings that I have encountered, with a variety of subjects, including sailing ships. Dating on these is questionable/uncertain. Some people say 19th century, but more likely most are "vintage" 20th century reproductions.

I like it! Seems the hanger is at a slightly crooked angle, giving the picture a rocking look, as if on sea waves.

 

No it's loose so I need to fix it.
