I found one example of this pitcher online but it was on one of those sites where you have to jump through hoops and give too much personal info to get access. Other than that, no luck. It is in perfect condition which makes me think it may be newer, but the style does look older. It stands around 9.5" tall Any help or ideas will be appreciated.

1940s give or take a few years.
Usually seen in blue. Not sure I have seen yellow.

I'm finding it listed as Oxford Universal Pottery.
I thought they were two different companies.

Maybe @janetpjohn will know the company.

Here's an ad, scroll way down:
http://www.laurelhollowpark.net/orp/universalpotteries.html There's no mention of other colors, so I can't say for sure who made the yellow one. A lot of the blue ones, like the one Pat shows, have blue lids, which also doesn't compute.
Lehner's says Oxford Pottery started in 1913. When Universal started in 1934, they got the Oxford building. I don't about all the marks crossovers; it's too much for a Tuesday morning on one cup of coffee.

I see I called it Universal Oxford in an old thread! I can't blame that one on caffeine deprivation.

Thank you so much everyone for identifying this. I really like the look that it has. I think it will be a keeper for my kitchen counter. Didn't mention it, but it is very very heavy and the lid isn't designed to be real secure so I'm not sure if it is practical to use, but it's easy on the eyes.
