I bought this in the late 1980s from the Wyland Gallery in San Diego. It seemed like a good idea at the time. It was around $3,000. I've tried to find a similar one for sale to try and price it. I had listed it on Ebay years and years ago but he's an acquired taste. It really doesn't fit into an 1850 Cape Cod house. It needs to be in Florida or California or Hawaii. It's signed by him and is in a beautiful Koa wood frame. I have looked at about 50 different pages to try and figure out what I could try and get for it. It has to be really rare or something. I find a couple of posters for less than $100 but no giclees with the massive frame. Ignore the reflections. It hangs in a stairway and there are multiple light sources from windows.

:wideyed:. I looked at that website and could not find it. Dang!
I tried to resell it through one of his galleries once and they offered me a pittance.

The Limited Edition Giclee is huge and has that double Koa wood frame which is probably worth more than the print. I also have the certification paperwork from the Wyland Gallery. Auction houses take such a huge percentage, too.

From the internet: seller's commission of 10–20% of the final sale price, and a buyer's premium of 10–25% of the hammer price.

I've sold my own work in galleries so I know they can take between 30%-60% depending on how important they think they are.
