We were given this really cool piece and told it was a warning leaflet that would have been dropped over Japan before a bombing/air strike during WWII. Did a little searching but wasn’t able to find another one in the shape of an actual leaf like this one is. I used the google translate app (that allows you to point your camera and translate) and while it wasn’t too clear, some of the keywords that came up were: tragic explosion/blast, good luck/unlucky/misfortune, falling/descending, before coming, entering & leaving, shaking, scatter, sad/sorrow/mourning, army, fierce, extinct, product: evil
So it does indeed appear to a warning leaflet as we were told, but beyond that we don’t know too much. Any other info on this, or a clearer translation, would be greatly appreciated! TYIA!

Measures approximately 6” in length and is made from a heavier possibly cotton-based paper.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Wow, it's surprising to me that the leaf hasn't dried and crumbled away more than it has!

I don't have useful information, but it is interesting.

It’s not a real leaf actually, made from a nice heavy paper, but impressively realistic! Definitely interesting!!
