I found this at a local estate sale today - it reminded me of WPA? (the art crated from govt sponsorship) art.
It is made of clay, I thin - but it isn't signed.
Does anyone know anything about it or any thoughts on it? Was it made by a artist or was it mass produced?
Any idea of value? (I paid $40 for it)
    Thank you

Be careful using the term WPA. Even though there seems to be a lot for sale, if it is good, the govt is claiming they paid/supported the artist and therefore the works belong to them. They have claimed some artwork.

It's a clay foundry worker. A google search came up with this. A former item on Ebay. Uk. and identified as "WPA style". No other info. s-l400.jpg
