I am very confused with this bracelet. It is a multi-strand with (possibly) fresh water pearls and crystal/faceted glass beads. The clasp looks older but the peals/beads looks bright and new. They are strung on string but not knotted. The hang tag has HC on one side and China 925 on the other. It is 7 1/2" x 2". Feels heavy but I did not weigh it. (I can, if it would help). How old do you think it is? I'm sure not antique, but vintage 40's-50's? All opinions welcome.

The clasp is old style, but still being made. From what I can find, HG is still making pearl bracelets, and as far as I know they are indeed freshwater pearls. You can check by rubbing them gently against the front of your teeth. If they feel gritty, they are real pearls.
It is a pretty bracelet, whatever its age.

    Hattie Carnegie, perhaps?

HATTIE CARNEGIE was the creator of a fashion empire designing not only clothing and accessories but jewelry as well. Carnegie costume jewelry was made from the 1940’s to the 1970’s. She often used specific themes in her jewelry lines, an example being her Oriental group, her beaded flowers and her poured glass pieces. Some ofher major designers were Norman Norell, Pauline Trigere, Peggy Moonan, Nandine Effront. Elegant and innovative, her jewelry remains both wearable and collectible today. Jewelry under this name was produced for several more years after her death in 1956. Hattie Carnegie jewelry was made from about 1939-1979.

Her earlier jewelry was marked with the "HC" mark, and it’s some of my favorite. It tends to be heavier and larger than her later pieces, and her fur clips are well balanced and easy to wear. She used wonderful elements like glass cabochons, pressed glass leaves and overlapping elements.

Thank you AJ and Rufus for your help.
Rufus- I originally thought Hattie Carnegie but her mark is HC in a triangle and I didn't find any evidence that her jewelry was ever made in China.

AJ-Where did you find a reference to HC jewelry. I searched for that jewelry brand but I must have not used the correct terms as I didn't find that brand. I did test the pearls on my teeth and they were gritty.

    Have a good day everyone.

A Hattie Mark the OP's isn't. The bracelet isn't even close to her style either, and she only made costume as far as I know.
