I pulled this out of a bag of clothes today, stuck out like a sore thumb in that clear bag.
Soon as I pulled it out of bag, many eyes where focused on me in thrift store.
Shoppers are always watching me to see what I get next, makes me feel uncomfortable.
Ooops, I almost went of track, the rug.
Anybody know about this wool rug, had a white label or something stapled to it, I never seen a run with a label stapled to it. The rug is small thick and heavy.

    Thank You

No clue but who's to say that is a 'label'.
Could just be someone's stock tag.

A couple questions, Billy. 1) Does the fringe edge (shown in your next to last picture) look the same on both ends? 2) Does the top side of the rug have any "pile" or is it flat?

One more question - Is the fringe made of the same "wool" material as the other colors?

I like the design and colors. I know, not very helpful.

Not the finest of weaves, but not machine made which is much more commonly found in thrift shops.

And I will venture a guess that those white "labels" are cleaning tags.

That thrift store gets a lot of stuff from Palm Springs, Ca. which is about 35 minutes from me. Some high end items end up here, an authentic Chanel purse, Louis Vuitton purses, scarves, Alexander Calder lithograph signed, Cartier sterling silver match holder, the list goes on and on. it's not your typical thrift store, so much goes through there, they have about 7 stores here in Southern ca.

It's about 2 1/2" feet by 4 feet approx. I haven't measured. I only paid $1. At that store, all clothing only $1, doesn't matter if it's a full length fur coat. All nick nacks 4 for $1, linens, comforters, rugs, $1. Paintings from $1 to $5, depending on size.

:jawdrop: That price list is amazing! Particularly given the kind of goods you described them getting in!
