Featured Wooden hat box

    I have a hexagonal hat box that is beautifully lined with wood or, more likely, a fake wood product. Just wondering if anyone out there has something similar or seen them before? I've had this one for around 40 years and never seen another one. It's a bit of an ugly duckling, I wonder what it looked like in it's hey day. I'm in Australia.     I bought it together with other hat boxes so just guessed it was one also. A hexagonal suitcase perhaps? Seems only functional for hats. Having said that I've used it as a suitcase :).
