Wooden Asian Wooden Panel(s)

Hello -

I have four of these, all four are different scenes. I only posted the one that has the name of the maker or artist at the bottom - if helpful to see the other three, just let me know.

Purchased many months ago at a TS half-off for $5.00 - I tried researching on my own, but found nothing. For our local area, it seems very out of place. I put them in the A-mall and there was been no interest, possibly because of the back. I was hopeful someone from a larger city would take them as they have purchased most of my expensive pieces.

I pulled them today and plan to put them in my annual Flea Market adventure next month unless I learn more.

The name is: Newell

Each one measures: 13 3/8" by 19 1/2". Seems like decent wood, but I don't know wood.

 

What's wrong with the back?
