    Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me something about this item? I allready found out it's a dancing Shiva, at least, if i'm right. But that's as far as I have come. I hope anyone can tell me something more, I'm really curious about the age.

It is not a dancing Shiva nataraj or dancing Shiva. Shiva nataraj has a human face. This item is from Thailand and represents Hanuman, the monkey deity. Hanuman is best known as king Rama's loyal friend in the popular Ramayana story.
Hanuman is often depicted with multiple arms as a sign of his power.
It is probably not very old, but the age is difficult to tell from the little thumbnail photographs, could you click on the full image option?

    Figtree3 and komokwa like this.
