Featured Wood Floor Lamp 1970s?

    Hi,
    Does this look like a 1970s floor lamp? Is it possible to tell what kind of wood this is?
    Any information appreciated.

    That lamp sure seems to scream late 60's early 70's. Can't tell the type of wood for certain but the base in your second picture looks like cherry.

    It's too bad about the crappy glue job where it was cracked on the base though. That would drive me crazy to the point of replacing it!

    I'll sell this locally so hopefully the buyer will be okay with it or be able to fix it:) I was happy that it works fine and the glass shade has no breaks.

    You know... I'm going to (respectfully) disagree re age. While the shade looks 1960s/1970s, I don't remember anything like the leaf cutout treatment from that period. I'd think quite a bit later.

    Search 60s wood lamps on Bing and look at photos.
    Try 70s too.
