Featured wood Bowl help with age and type of wood

    This bowl is large 14" wide by 9 1/2" deep. about 4" tall.
    I was hoping someone might be able to tell me where it came fron, how old it might be, and what type of wood.

    I had to put a dab of oil on it to bring out the grain and color. Sure hope to ID this. lol.

    Just a guess: India, what they call "shesham wood."
