    The ones I've seen here like that are Indian. Doubt that one is of any great age, 50s or so.

    When things are made of 'bone' it's usually cow bone.

    But if you want to be sure, rub your finger across it, and see if it moos.

    Not cow, given it's almost certainly Indian. Ox or buffalo. Some hardwood or other.
