WMF (maybe) Art Nouveau Tray ?

Here's a piece that's been around for years,it's 14" long and abt 2 1/4'' high.It's brass (the pics make it look gold).I can't find a mark or stamp on it-no WMF Ostrich,nothing.

It is Art Nouveau style and beautiful, but it doesn't strike me as WMF.
WMF Art Nouveau trays are usually asymmetrical and often marked.

Could it be American?

 

AJ-Could be American.I only found 2 listings on it (Etsy & Ebay),one says WMF and one not-who knows ?
PS-Right,I think most all WMF is marked,it's a mystery.

 

@bosko69, Your very TOP image, the below corner image of the tray I've posted, is that showing writing???? Sometimes it IS, sometimes it's NOT....curious!!!

Bosko I'm wondering why these pictures are so reddish.

 

Dang-I can't find anything that looks like written language,just stippling in the metal.

 

Baker-I think I've got to recalibrate the brightness,hue & saturation on my camera.It's got a touch dial on the screen that can get wacky sometimes.

 

This is quite the mystery.Could this be Monsieur Lautrec's champagne bowl from the Moulin de la Galette ?

Time to share a secret, the quality of output is determined by the quality of the input.

We use Image Search to seek similar objects for us.

Using your supplied image, it gathered Carnival Glass and Copper trays.

Using my version of your image, Image Search yielded Silver trays. The first two images turned-out to be the same tray.

 

Thankyou for sharing your skill & knowledge ! By 'Image Search' you mean 'Google Lens',or is Image Search somewhere else on my computer or in a downloadable program ?

 

It says Google Images (using Chrome browser). It may be the same thing?

 

Awesome-I found a brass one on Etsy,sold for $312.This is a lot better than Lens.Interestingly,because of the rosy gold color my camera imparted to it-I also got examples of orange carnival glass .

 

More-The other three I saw online were silver plate,without an original catalog page-who knows if it was offered in brass & silver,but mine doesn't look stripped.
