Wire stem thread wrapped glass leaf necklace

    It’s a bit of a dogs breakfast and not a thing of beauty but I suspect the beads and the main part of this necklace are a marriage. I wonder if anyone can confirm please? The beads look much later so may be irrelevant.
    I’ve not seen one like this with possibly wax and string flowers, would that date it at all?
    The leaves all have wire stems, would they likely be Czech?
    Each leaf is c1.5cm long.

    Looking at the string ends I think it's original. It could easily be mid-1950s costume. Czech beads assembled in...good question.
