I've added pictures as requested. In the picture there are fine black outlines in the water, and around the picture. Didn't know if that was going to help. Wonder whos signature is on my picture?
    Hi everyone!

After not finding information during my searches, I'm sending pictures to ask for your help.

The Dutch watercolor size: Actual picture, 3 1/8 in. wide, 4 3/4 in. height.

    Very old.

Did not include the old frame , gilt, simply decorated.

The signature is not very clear but someone might know who painted this watercolor. I tried 2 pictures of signature hoping one is good enough to read.

Thanks for artist name, how old, and value regardless of how little or much since

    Thanks again.

And, fyi, we prefer photographs of both the front and back including frame.

Not 100% sure. It appears to be. I will take a picture out of frame and close. Maybe you will see/know more. I will add it shortly. If I can still edit, or it will be an additional post. Thanks

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Enlarged a bit & straightened....the signature's a bit sharper as well....

Yes I did, & it sharpened up a bit...it 'looks' like it is in pencil, but I just can't read it well! Almost looks like it says "Frost"???? Click on the picture I posted and you'll see it IS 'clearer'......

The windmill is not of a Dutch type, so a French subject and artist is possible.
And it looks like a hand coloured print (etching?), rather than a watercolour.
The difference is that your print has been 'coloured in', which was done sometimes. When a print has been coloured, it is called a hand coloured print, or hand coloured etching, etc.

French or Belgian, I'd think. wikipedia.org has a list of windmills in both countries. If you want to go to the trouble.

I agree, this is not a watercolor but a print :)
