It is not possible to tell who the publisher was for your book, as there is no indication on the title page and the copyright information on the reverse is damaged. It is unusual for the printing plate of a first edition to be damaged/defaced in this way, which might indicate that it is a later printing (not a first).

It is difficult to tell what a first edition of this title should look like. The information for comparable copies is inconclusive. One version with the same cover is described as "privately printed":
    https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=30496522767&searchurl=n=100121503&bi=h&ds=30&bx=off&sortby=17&tn=wild+life+among+the+red+men&an=stratton&recentlyadded=all&cm_sp=snippet-_-srp1-_-image2

One 1902 edition is listed as published by D.Z. Howell, but it has a different cover:
    https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=22468457770&searchurl=n=100121503&bi=h&ds=30&bx=off&sortby=17&tn=wild+life+among+the+red+men&an=stratton&recentlyadded=all&cm_sp=snippet-_-srp1-_-image4

And the Library of Congress describes the 1902 edition as published by the National Publishing Company:

@Dlf, I would also like to ask that when you include photos in your posts, please use the "upload a file" option and select "full size", rather than the media link to the gallery. The gallery photos load very slowly, and we may lose interest before they are visible.:)
