Why can't I find this artist?

    I stink at searching what am I doing wrong?

    It looks like a Sunday painter to me. There are thousands of Sunday painters who produced charming pictures and remain totally unknown. The plaque on the frame is no guarantee that the artist was known beyond his/her personal circle.

    It could also be that the painting came later into that frame.
