I have a vintage new box of Japanese assorted floral cone incense; it contains 12 (2X6) smaller boxes, each with 6 cones: Rose, Lily, Sandalwood, Wisteria, Violet & Lotus. They had price tags on each small box, an' were marked at $1.15...the tags had WILLI GECK at the top. What little I can find seems to indicate it was a German Department Store, still in operation in the late '80s...but I haven't found any history for the name (except that there was a Luftwaffe officer with that name during WWII). Can any of y'all illuminate this for me? I haven't taken any pics yet, but will in the next day or so... an' then I'll post 'em here. Thanks for lookin'!

I remember the smell of those when I use to shop at Spencers at the mall.

Well, they still have plenty of original 'aroma' after all these years. Together, all 6 of 'em, it's rather cloying. Individually, burning, I'll allow they're probably more distinct, an' pleasant. They were in a zip storage bag, an' I wondered why...now my abode reeks, an' I know why!

I'd say burn the sandalwood to get rid of the multiple smells........

but, that could be counterproductive .....:(:(

Sandalwood would be my 1st choice, too...but my intention is to sell 'em on eBay...undiminished by selfish use. I'll use the proceeds to retire in some rich enclave, livin' life large until the end! Wish me luck, eh?
