A bit of an odd piece, I know. Some damage, arm is missing from the one woman calling out of the window. Curious if the scene is from a book? Also, any guesses on the stamped signature? Thanks!

Any guess on the story line? At first I thought "cute" with black cat, etc. But now I'm wondering if the cook or whatever is throwing the cat out. Cook has a rolling pin...
