I have access to worthpoint through my job, but findartinfo.com seems really good for giving a lot of results.

(And they have a great search feature for investigating partial or illegible names, which is free).

They're offering a year now for about $90, which seems very reasonable.

I'm asking for what people use - not selling findartinfo.com! :)

I've found it helpful to have (free) accounts at places like liveauctioneers.com to see past sales records at live auction houses. Even larger individual auction houses have their past records online for free usually.
