When was this chair made

    I just got this chair. The handle looks old and used but the wood color looks pretty new. I am not sure on the age .

    Where did you "get it?" What were you told about it? How much did you pay for it?

    You really need to do a better job of telling us what we need to know when you post.

    Ladderback chairs are always very hard to date since they have been made continuously for a few hundred years. I think your instincts that this is not particularly old are correct. Possibly as early as the 60s but could be even newer.
