Can you see any marks on the metal? Wedgwood did make some jewellery in base metal, but yours looks silver. Nice unusual setting too.

The marking on the right i think says 925 or 923 and the one further to the right says jw and the one on the left just says wedgwood hard to see as the necklace is pretty dirty/tarnished

Would/could you post a photograph of the clasp? And what is the length?

It’s silver, then. You’ve also got full hallmarks on there too.

I think they started making the solid body color Wedgwood in the 60s. Originally it was the color over white porcelain. Given the art nouveau-design silver I'd think late 60s to mid-70s because it came around again then.

Solid body is much earlier than that, goes back to the nineteenth. Dipped was earlier still. I’m not sure how they’re managing to date those without a date letter on the Wedgwood , which would have been present. If the hallmark can be deciphered that will help.

Ooh, Deco a go-go. She's not their best modeled work, but think she is meant for Venus/Aphrodite (see left). Her greatest value by far is that she belonged to your great nan.

I’d call that setting more arts and crafts in the British style sense than Deco. Those swirls are absolutely typical. It’s reminiscent of some Knox designs.

I agree. And it is charming.
Ditto. Which doesn't necessarily mean it is of the period.

Packed away right now, but my Mom was given a pair of Sage Green Wedgwood silver-mounted clip earrings in the late '60s, a few years later, in my teens, had already picked up a couple of Sage Green pieces and started collecting, so my Mom had the earrings converted into pierced dangle earrings (later acquired an older brooch to match). No longer actively collect, but still have the collection - has to be a special piece to tempt me, but I am always on the lookout for a pair of Wedgwood heels in the wild...

I saw a pair once on the Roadshow. That's as close as I've gotten.

There's usually some on eBay, but they're either ridiculously priced, have no shoes attached, or both.
