    I'm not sure what to say if I put them up for sale. 20200408_172924_resize_60.jpg 20200408_172940_resize_59.jpg 20200408_180130_resize_40.jpg 20200408_173209_resize_72.jpg 20200408_172915_resize_48.jpg 20200408_180533_resize_18.jpg

Interesting. Looks like the embroidery is done on wool and not cotton.
Are you able to tell for sure what the material is?

LOL! In actuality I didn't say "Vintage", or "Framed" BUT #1 mistake on forums is NOT to read previous posts:

    Satin-stitch, if I remember correctly.

It is definitely satin stitch on the smaller petals and the leaves and whipped stem stitch on the stems. But, why are we saying metallic thread? Could it not be silk thread? I have a count-cross stitch made by my 3rd great grandmother and the threads shine just like those in the frames.

The color is leaching onto the wool. And the reciprocal of the flower is pretty cool. Screenshot_20200409-154137_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20200409-154517_Gallery_resize_59.jpg

The first flowers look to me like poppies, a native flower and the CA state flower much loved; the second flower to me looks like a native prairie flower echinacea or black eyed Susan perhaps.
