what pattern are these?

    Before we decide to sell this silverware (probably EP)
    we need to know the name of the pattern
    thought to be from 1977ish in north america.
    it is a wooden box with far more than i know what to do with!

    Are there any marks on the back?

    Looks very close to Oneida's Flirtation pattern, first issued in 1959 with the trademark 1881 Rogers which Oneida owned.

    And yes, it would be silver plate.

    And that is the right mark for them to have, abc. But to best search for sold listings you should include Oneida (as well as 1881 Rogers) in your search terms because technically they were the manufacturer.

    You're welcome. All I did was pick up the "Firtation" ball (pattern name) that Baker had found and ran just a little with it. I am not up on pattern names, Baker is the forum guru on IDing silver patterns. Ebay is a good site for checking the going prices on stuff and such. Especially look at what something sold for. Many sellers have high flown ideas/fantasies on what they think something is worth. In short order they are brought down to earth.
