    Nice vase (Hanging Hearts Decor) I am not really up on Tiffany Glass, so I can not say if that LCT is authentic or not.

    I'm on my way out the door but I'll cross post this to one of my facebook groups to see if anybody can confirm or deny

    The mark doesn't look right to me. Some small pieces were marked with just LCT but even slightly larger pieces usually had the word Favrile as well. Many pieces also had a number. You don't give the size of the piece but my impression is that the mark looks overly large.

    Besides all this, I don't think the quality of the glass matches up. The hearts/leaves on your piece seem a bit one dimensional. The vines seem narrow and not as fused to the glass as I would expect. This is what I would expect an authentic piece to look like.

    Well I cross posted this for you and the consensus is that it is a fake LCT signature. I guess the signature goes counter clockwise. No word on who may have made it though. If I get any further info, I will let you know.

    It's still nice, even if it isn't Tiffany.

    Was it Loetz that sometimes didn't sign their pieces ? I think the signature might be fake too , but its a very nice piece of glass on its own . That rough pontil confuses me a little too .

    @johnnycb09

    Quite a few glass manufacturers didn't sign all their pieces. Loetz being one of them. And to make matters interesting, Loetz used a couple different ways of signing.Loets has really nicely polished out bottoms, but they also have some with rougher pontil scars. A lot depends on the over all shape of the item in question. Some they just couldnt ground down to perfection.

    A couple of folks have suggested this may be a piece by "Carl Radke" of Phoenix Studios. I dd a quick search and he does have a vase very similar in shape to yours. I am not saying this is by him, but it is an avenue worth looking into. I am going to echo cxgirl's comment, regardless of who made this. It is a really nice piece.

    It's a very nice looking piece of Bogus Tiffany glass.

    Durand (Vineland Flint Glassworks) made similar pieces. A great many pieces left the factory unmarked, often turning up, especially here in south Jersey, with spurious LCT marks.
