Welcome! Just a question first. Is that actaully glass or is it plexigless? That may help to narrow down the date.

I won't be able to help much but the people that can help will want to see photos from the top, sides, back, and construction details like the sides or bottom of the drawers, door hinges...etc..

Also helpful would be dimensions and you might want to edit the title and at least put in there that you're looking for help identifying a piece of furniture.

If there are shelves in the glazed portions I would call it a vitrine. BUT that may be incorrect! If there are hooks inside and the drawers are lined it may have been designed for jewellery.

I'd callit a combination of a tallboy and a vitrine, modernish in an antique related style.

Antique furniture was usually one thing or another, when it came to making modern antiques all bets were off, a bit of this and that was normal.

Agree that this is a later Frenchy style vitrine-ish piece. If has some age, likely Italian. If modern, probably from China or Egypt.
