image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I thought maybe a small lamp. It unscrews from the bottom and top. It has I long rod running through the middle of it. What is the body made of? I thought marble of some type.

    It was a lamp

The faux stone is probably molded

    Probably came from Italy

    There's nothing indicating a mold.

    It's one solid piece.

Oh, that one... It's extremely heavy!! I would need to pick it up to read the name underneath it, as I have forgotten it. An older lady was cleaning out her attic and had this. I got it for $25. It's missing the shade for the top. I can only imagine what it would look like. image.jpg

WOW, from afar it looked like paned leaves. I do like the amber and filigree. Very cool. :)

Shoot, wish it was Tiffany! I've seen one other that looks like this but not as large, sold for about $2k about 4 yrs ago.

Terry is probably correct in that it came from Italy.
Not molded stone though. Most likely Alabaster with a coating, that may have yellowed.
    1970ish Ewer

    Hi,
I concur with Pat, coated alabaster, usually see them as eggs and ashtrays. Just a decorative ewer.
