What is this Silver Ring?

    Does anyone know what this silver ring is used for? It's tapered and I think it may be hollow in the thicker area but not sure. I bought it at the thrift store a few years ago as part of a grab bag . It weighs almost 22 grams and is about 3" in diameter. Thanks in advance for any replies or information.

    Looks like a tapered bangle bracelet.

    Thanks Hollyblue and Any Jewelry for the replies. It just seemed a bit odd to be a tapered bangle, never saw one like it before. Thought it might be something else. It would never fit on my wrist.

    At 3" I would have no trouble at all getting it on my wrist.
